[ ]Sanctuary Agenda
The Ransom Sanctuary, the human-owned canine rescue center, often has it's own announcements to make via staff. When canines are going to be released into the wild or relocated to the Alpine Pack, for instance, we'll put out a message to let you know so you ca sign up. When spots for ABO or exotic canine adoptions are open, you'll know by reading it here. Need to know what the Sanctuary is up to? Here's your place.

Outcasts Haven
[ ]Gossamer Glade
The Glade is one of the smallest, yet one of the most cherished regions around. Even pack canines envy its tranquility and rapture. The low-boughed trees are dense and dark and prompt a lot of shade and dew to form on the ground, but the truly breath-taking feature has to do with spiders. These arachnids of the Glade have formed thousands of webs across branches, leaves, and rocks which glisten after rains and sparkle at dawn. While they can be annoying if they snag in your fur, they are a sight to behold.

[ ]Phoenix Creek
Phoenix Creek is a long, winding brooke named for the fiery colors it reflects at the rise and set of the sun. It is a prime fishing spot and leads directly into Kawaisu, so many outcasts simply follow the flow upstream on their journey to find a proper home. Because of its popularity, it is heavily trafficked and not a very private place; you are likely to meet others or have your conversations overheard here.

[ ]Hangdog Peak
Hangdog Peak is a narrow, secluded land with a varied sort of topography; some of it is rolling hills, others flat meadows, and still more of it can be part of a damp bayou that runs around it. Because of this variety, a lot of outcasts make their homes here, especially due to the deep soil for den-digging and the infrequent caves to be found in the walls of cliffs. However, many other animals make their homes here, which could be good or bad. Prey is bountiful, but so are predators, which make the outcasts' lives even more difficult than they already are.

The Sanctuary
[ ]Research Lodge
The Research Lodge is the headquarters of human activity and the most avoided place by wild canines. A great population of canines live here, from wolves in enclosures to other wild and domestic canines being fostered by the humans. Most wild wolves coming into the Lodge come here first, to be given check-ups before they are released into the Reserve or moved somewhere else.

[ ]The Nursery
Occasionally, a female wolf in the preserve will give birth to a litter of puppies. The volunteers for the orphanage will go to the den site while the mother is away, and will remove one or two puppies to rear until it is old enough to hold it's own. On other occasions, the senior-volunteers will go to a studied packs den, and confiscate the litter to be raised in captivity. When wolf and/or other canine pups are abandoned to the shelter, they usually end up here as well. The Whelp Orphanage is where they are brought, and are raised by a surrogate dog-mother or human in captivity. Humans may bring in ambassador wolves as tutors.

[ ]The Enclosures
In the sanctuary are three enclosures, a large one containing the mainstream Relesable Pack, a side-by-side concrete-floored pen where juvenile puppies are kept as they grow older so that they may touch and communicate with adult wolves without conflict. And another enclosure for the releasable wolves, who have little or no contact with the main pack. The Non-Releasable Pack has a very native environment, in the seven acre-property that they call their stomping grounds. The releasable pack has a cozy five-acre property which they use as their temporary enclosure.

210
[ ]The Confinement
The confinement is used for when wolves are sick, and cannot risk exposing the malaise to another wolf. Extremely aggressive, anti-social, injured, and recovering canines are also kept here at times until they are deemed fit to return to other groups and/or be released. Pregnant females in the Sanctuary's care may also find temporary home here if they need to be watched until they give birth.

The Reservation
[ ]Alpine Pack
The Alpine Pack’s current residence is fairly average - to human standards. Gentle, rolling hills are among the southern regions of the lands, but otherwise, comfortably spaced foliage blankets the majority of the packlands. Clearings appear here and there, like black sheep in a family of white. Snow tends to pile on thick here, mostly because of the lack of low-lying areas due to the rolling hills rather than steep cliffs. The prey here tends to come rather frequently, leaving the wolves large around the belly and satisfied.

The Wilderness
[ ]Caddoe
Straddling the bank of the River, the Caddoe region is on much lower-leveled land than the rest of the pack territories. A portion of the land is muddy and swamp-like, particularly around the shoreline of the water where the silver willows grow. These weeping trees have spread across all of Caddoe over the years and now cast most of the land in their blue shadows. Because of this, the ground is very soft and rich, attracted an array of plant life and the animals that consume it. The threat of human interference is very high here due to its close proximity with the Sanctuary. Caddoe natives are usually more sly, quick, and crafty than their neighboring packs due to the many dangers and labyrinths of their marshy territory.

[ ]Amarok
In a sharp contrast to the other lands surrounding it, which include Kawaisu, Deepti, and the Reservation, Amarok is a mountainous region of sharp peaks, plummeting falls, and deep crags. The low land of Caddoe raises up through Deepti and elevates right up into the heaights of Amarok, allowing this pack to tower over the others. Amarok natives are often sturdier and tougher than their neighbors because of their unique home, but the pack is always being diversified by the nearby Reservation releases. Human threats are low even though they are close to the Sanctuary, merely because few humans travel up into the more dangerous parts of the mountain range to collar wolves of the pack.

[ ]Kawaisu
Kawaisu is often plagued by an onslaught of outcast and stray wolves crossing through its borders, either looking for a home or seeking safe haven after being released from the Sanctuary. It's pack is barely affected at all by humans tagging canines and taking litters due to the distance separating it from the Reservation. This heavily-forested area is known to be home of some of the most stubborn wolves, and Kawaisu canines rarely raise rivalries with other packs mostly because of how secluded and secretive they are; the closest packs are Amarok and Deepti, both of which are broken off by mountains and hills.

[ ]Deepti
Deepti, wedged between the lowlands of Caddoe and the mountains of Amarok, is a mostly highlands-type area. The rocky moors, broad plains, and little tree life make it an alien place to non-Deepti canines. A lot of released wolves from the nearby Sanctuary come to Deepti, making it a very diverse pack, but the pack natives are distinguishable by their notorius reputation as being a very aggressive band of canines. They are the fierce rivals of the Caddoe in particular, but they do not hesitate from being hostile with Amarok-dwellers or Kawaisu wolves. This possibly comes from the fact that they have packs on all four sides of their borders, though their constant vigilance and antagonism often turn away outcasts looking to join. Intruders are usually shown little mercy from this taciturn pack.
